Teaching Tools

The Bethel Series uses the Bible as the textbook. The study material written is accurately drawn from the Scriptures and placed into the historical context for understanding. There is no use of proof-texting in the Bethel Series.

A Historical View of the Bethel Series tells the story right from the mouth of the author, Dr. Harley Swiggum. This tool is a 28-minute interview and is available on a DVD. Students find it interesting to hear how the Bethel Series came to be and also offers the students an introduction to Harley, the man God used for this ministry.

Talking Points in a PowerPoint format is available. Here you will witness the work of a Bethel-trained teacher, Dean Cooper, who has done a marvelous job of adding this dimension to the presentation of the Bethel Series. This Windows compatible CD-ROM contains Bethel Series pictures, concepts and lesson talking points.

A Complete Bible Map System CD-ROM enhances your teaching of the Bethel Series. This CD contains 7 PowerPoint Presentations, 20 printable Classroom Handouts, as well as 22 individual map plates that can be imported into your own PowerPoint Presentation. This CD also includes a complete master index listing every map place mentioned in the Bible and a 4-page Study Guide for the Journeys of Paul.
